The shuttle bus took more than an hour, and I didn’t feel sleepy at all while looking at the scenery outside the window. I don’t remember how long ago I took a train through a cave. It was satisfying to experience taking a train through a cave again.

When you get off the train on the platform, you can see the Flame Mountain in the distance, a large area of farmland at the foot of the mountain, and the sound of sparrows filling the sky. Yes, this is the countryside. We walked up five flights of stairs before exiting the train station. As expected, it is the highest station in Taiwan. It should be said to be the highest platform for taking trains. In fact, the train station is below the platform (railway branch).

What you can visit in Tai'an is the bald cypress forest next to Tai'an Elementary School, the Tai'an Old Railway Station, and the cherry blossoms next to the police station (there are only dry branches depending on the season). Go and see the Tai'an Old Railway Station! I looked at Google Maps and it took me a while to walk about one kilometer. I saw that YouBike was great. Fortunately, I brought my Youyou Card and signed up with Lima.

There are rice fields, orange orchards and black tomatoes along the road... It's a little sunny but not too hot. I'm riding a Youbike on the country road. Isn't this the day thirty years ago? In a blink of an eye, my children have grown up, and I am over fifty.

The admission ticket to the bald cypress forest next to Tai'an Elementary School is 60 yuan. I have seen the large bald cypress forest in Yunlin Jiuxiong Village for free. This small bald cypress cannot attract me, so I decided to make my next trip.

The old Tai'an railway station is old but clean. It is said that volunteers maintain the railway station regularly. You can only get to the platform through the old tramway. There is no one around. This entire railway station and rails are mine. I can take pictures as I please. , sit down and take pictures, lie down and take pictures, jump and take pictures...to satisfy my interests and desires.

It's time to go home. I'm watching the whole night on the platform, wondering? How come the mountain line lasts all night? It used to be that we were chasing the line all night, that is, when we went south to Taichung, we changed to chasing the line all night, okay! I went to the overnight bus and then changed to Zhubei. The more I thought about getting on the bus, the more wrong it became. When would I be able to go south and switch to the chasing line? The overnight train is not a big station. There are few buses to Zhubei. I happened to be at Taichung Station. I got off immediately. The train heading north happened to catch up with the Ziqiang train bound for Keelung. I got off at Hsinchu and took the shuttle bus back to Zhubei. The return trip took 2.5 hours.

On special days, I love taking the train to travel around.
